Bio

Elliott Paterson is an Essex born musician/singer songwriter.  Through pure obsession  he became quite proficient on the guitar during his youth, he discovered that he had a knack for song writing, along with a singing voice that seemed to captivate all that hear it.  He found that immersing himself in music provided some dose of serenity in his otherwise chaotic life.

Elliott moved down to the South Coast and burst onto Bournemouth’s thriving music scene in the ‘summer of 2006’.  Having already worked up an impressive repertoire of original songs, he quickly gained momentum with regards to his musical endeavors. His name became well known and respected within the local scenes, even earning him a support slot for renowned blues man Ian Siegal. Representing Bournemouth in the Artist Showcase from London’s

Folkwitt Records and also performing a live set on Forest FM Radio. In the summer of 2007 he took to the stage at Poole’s annual Groove on the Green festival (which attracted a crowd of about 2000), being the only solo act to be offered a slot.

Next his journey would take him to South  Africa, where he formed a band with local Jazz musicians whom he toured & recorded his 'Rainbows & Gold EP with.

He became a Father in 2011 to  Son Anakin, who has been a hugely positive influence in Elliott's life and inspired the yet to be released “A brand new world” Elliott is now back on home soil Rayleigh, and he hopes to continue with local gigs and share his tuneful tales with audiences.

Elliott Paterson will undoubtedly enchant any whose ears are exposed to what critics have described as “his own brand of Buckley-inspired folk”
